Ian will ask you; “What do you want?” and “What are you doing about it?”
As a motivator, and Sales and Management consultant for over forty years, Ian has made presentations at, and for, the UBC Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, Banff School of Advanced Learning, BC Association of Realtors, Toastmasters Associations, Life Underwriters Associations, Bank of Nova Scotia, Century 21 of Canada, Realty World. The CREA Executive Council of Canada, and the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors.
As an instructor, Ian has produced training programs, motivated and mentored thousands of licensed Realtors in every Canadian Province, and parts of the USA, making personal coaching a natural progression in his remarkable career.
In addition, after extensive learning and training in communication, relationships, goal setting and coaching with Dr. Steven Covey, Paul J. Meyer, and Jim Cathcart, he has chosen to concentrate his passion 'on helping people to reach their full potential.
As a coach, for the last several years Ian has successfully worked with active Realtors in Nova Scotia, all of whom are achieving or surpassing their desired targets. He dislikes watching Realtors waste their potential by constantly attempting to “re-invent the wheel”.
Ian has been awarded the Fellow of the Real Estate Industry(FRI) designation, and the Certified Real Estate Specialist(CRES) designation, and is known in some circles as “The Real Estate Doctor” a radio call in program that Ian did weekly for years in Vancouver..
He enjoys having fun with his wife Marie, friendships, reading, and playing golf as often as possible..
